Terms & Conditions


Your payment for classes can be made in full, or monthly, but must be in advance. Payment can be made by direct bank transfer, (please ask me for account details) payment on the register system or cash. Monthly payments must be made before the next month classes commence. Your payment secures your place in your chosen class, refunds cannot be given for illness. If you have a known period of absence please speak to me.

What you need for your lessons:

Your swimming costume/trunks. If age appropriate, child's disposable swim nappy with a happy nappy over the top. If we were to have an 'accident' the pool has to be shut for a minimum of 24 hours for a deep clean in order to get rid of 'matter' in the water.

Please arrive swim ready as possible with a onesie/dressing gown/loose clothing over your swim wear.

Parking and Accessing the Pool. Brightlingsea.

The pool is a private pool attached to the Owners house.

There are two ways to access the pool house, There is an public side alley to the left of the property which leads to the pool entrance, this alley way can also be accessed from Wilfred Way where there is more parking.

It has private parking on the driveway (5 cars) and there is parking available for us to use considerately on the road surrounding the property and there are two large laybys in Wilfreds Way.

Please park consciously as there is limited parking. 5 cars can be parked on the driveway.

Parking Seawick.

There is ample parking adjacent to the pool house.

Pool Policies

Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your lesson, swim ready with a onesie/dressing gown/loose clothing over your swim wear.

Remove your shoes and take all of your belongings with you to the changing rooms. Please keep your belongings tidy and leave room for the class before you to access the changing rooms to dry/change.

Get you and your child ready and use the seating area in front of the pool. No one enters the pool until the teacher is ready, then you will be called to pool side.

Eating anywhere in the pool house is not encouraged and take all your rubbish home with you please.

Changing Facilities: Brightlinsea

The pool has 4 individual changing bays, two with a shower, and each bay has a baby change unit. Please ensure that older children do not climb on the baby change units as they are designed for a maximum of 20kgs. We also have changing in the toilet area. We ask that you leave your belongings in the changing room whilst swimming. Check that you have all your belongings when leaving the changing rooms.

Changing facilities Seawick

There is ample changing cubicles including disabled and baby change units. Please leave the area clean and take all your rubbish home with you. Showers are available on pool side.

Parents are to stay on pool side during the class and to stay in the seated area at the end of the pool, If you have to leave the building during the class you must inform the teacher first.

I will be assessing for Certificates and awards, (STA) these will be awarded at half terms, and at the end of term, if gained. Certificates and awards are a lovely way to log and reward your children for their efforts and are encouraged. Each certificate comes with a badge to sew onto your towel or swimbag and cost £6 each. There will be an email sent out with the Certifictes awarded.
